Bianca Valle (link to her blog here and her instagram here) might be the cool kid you see while walking in the streets of NY.
After moving to New York (she was born and raised in Coronado, CA), the woman with the longest hair you’ll see started working as an intern for different brands such as Nylon Magazine, Milk Makeup (as their first intern) and lastly at Refinery29 as an Ad Photo intern while studying at the Tisch School of the Arts.
When graduating, she became part of the Milk Makeup Social Media and Creative Team and started freelancing in photography, paint, production design for editorial videos and her career as model kicked off (model for Vogue, Urban Outfitters, GAP, Madewell, Topshop, Nike, DKNY, Mara Hoffman or the North Face to name a few).
Nowadays, she is studying at Healing Nutrition and is working as a freelance writer for Nylon, All the Pretty Birds, Who What Wear, Milk and more and is painting in her free time so we could say that she is kind of a workaholic. However, living in Chinatown offers her a lot of different inspirations that she can use in her everyday life. As she says, inspiration comes from within and from your past experiences ; this might be why she still has no clue about how to define her personal style, as it is constantly evolving depending on her mood, on what she sees around her and for her, dressing is a daily walking piece of art, so why not exploring different kinds of styles ?
While we could think that living in such a big city could be kind of overwhelming, the girl is trying as much as she can to be the advocate of wellness and to take care of her. She does that by running, by cooking using as many natural ingredients as possible, by including vegan and natural beauty products to her skincare journey and by going to the market and making her own vegetable milk because, to her, all those little things represent what we need to do to save our planet and this agenda makes her the Woman of the Week.
